The Modern Exodus — Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 25th February, 2026. Last Updated: 17th October,
2026.
The Modern Exodus ("we," "us," "our," or "the Company") respects your
privacy. We are building a brotherhood, not harvesting data. This
Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it,
how we store and protect it, and what rights you have regarding your
personal information. By creating an account, purchasing a membership,
accessing our community spaces, or using any of our services through
our payment provider, our website at themodernexodus.com, or any
related platform (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to the
terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms,
you should not use our Services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, information
collected automatically when you use our Services, and information
from third-party platforms we integrate with. Basic account
information may include your full name, email address, phone number,
username or display name, payment confirmation details (processed
through our payment provider and their third-party payment processors;
we do not store full credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or
other complete payment credentials), billing address, account creation
date, and membership status. Community participation data may include
messages, posts, and comments you submit; forms and applications you
complete; feedback and testimonials you provide; participation records
for live calls, events, and retreats; content you upload; interactions
with other members; and event RSVPs and attendance records. Voluntary
information may include personal goals, business and professional
details, fitness and health progress, family or life updates, and
regional location for chapter matching. Automatically collected
information includes IP address and approximate location, browser type
and settings, device type and operating system, pages visited and time
spent, cookies and similar tracking technologies, and form submission
events for lead tracking and support management.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve our
Services; to grant and manage access to the brotherhood including
private channels, events, and retreats; to process membership
registrations and manage billing; to communicate with you about your
account; to enforce our Code of Conduct, Terms of Service, and
community standards; to match you with regional chapters; to respond
to support requests; to analyze usage and improve the community; to
detect and prevent fraud; and to comply with legal obligations. We do
not sell, rent, or trade your data, and we do not share your personal
information with third parties for their own marketing or advertising
purposes.
3. Payment Processing
All payments for memberships, events, retreats, and donations are
processed through our payment provider and their third-party payment
processors. We do not collect, store, or process full payment
credentials, including full credit card numbers, bank account numbers,
CVV codes, or banking login credentials. We may receive confirmation
of payment status, transaction identifiers, and billing information to
manage your account. Donation records are retained for accounting and
tax compliance purposes.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our third-party service providers use cookies and similar
tracking technologies to remember your login session and preferences,
understand how visitors use our website, track form submissions for
lead and contact management, analyze traffic, and measure the
effectiveness of our content. We use both session and persistent
cookies. You can control or disable cookies through your browser
settings, though disabling cookies may affect your ability to use
certain features.
5. How We Share Your Information
We may share your information with service providers (payment,
community, and platform providers) who process information on our
behalf under confidentiality obligations; analytics and tracking
providers; event partners who receive only necessary attendance
information; legal authorities where required by law; and in
connection with business transfers. We require all service providers
to handle your information with appropriate confidentiality and do not
share information for independent marketing purposes.
6. Community Confidentiality
The Modern Exodus is built on trust. Members are expected to maintain
the confidentiality of private conversations, avoid recording or
screenshotting private content for external distribution, and respect
the privacy of fellow members. We cannot guarantee that other members
will not share information externally. If you share something
sensitive, you do so voluntarily and at your own risk.
7. Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information using
industry-standard measures, including secure hosting, controlled
administrative access, encrypted transmission over HTTPS/TLS, regular
access reviews, and vendor security agreements. No online system is
completely secure. By using our Services, you understand and accept
this inherent risk. In the event of a data breach, we will take
reasonable steps to notify affected members and authorities as
required by law.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is
active or as needed to provide our Services. Account information is
retained while your membership is active; payment records are retained
for legal, tax, and accounting compliance (typically up to 7 years);
moderation logs are retained to maintain community standards; and
content posted may be retained even after you leave. To request
deletion of your personal data, contact us directly and we will comply
where legally required.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct,
delete, port, object to processing of, withdraw consent for, and opt
out of marketing communications regarding your personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at
business@themodernexodus.com. We will respond in accordance with
applicable law, typically within 30 days. California residents may
exercise rights under the CCPA, and EEA/UK residents under the GDPR.
10. Children's Privacy
The Modern Exodus is intended for adult men. We do not knowingly
collect information from children under 13. If you are under 18, you
may not join without parental or legal guardian consent where
permitted by law.
11. International Data Transfers
Our Services are operated from the United States, and your information
may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries.
If you access our Services from outside the United States, you
acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed
in the United States, where data protection laws may differ.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
Our Services may contain links to or integrate with third-party
websites and platforms, including our payment provider, community
chat, merchandise store, and social media. We are not responsible for
the privacy practices of these third parties and encourage you to
review their privacy policies.
13. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make
material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" and "Last
Updated," notify members where appropriate, and post the updated
policy on this page. Continued use of our Services after changes
constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

The Modern Exodus — Terms of Service
Effective Date: 25th February, 2026. Last Updated: 17th October,
2026.
By purchasing, accessing, or participating in The Modern Exodus
through our website at themodernexodus.com, our community platforms,
or any related service (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to
these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not join, purchase, or
use our Services. This is a disciplined brotherhood, not a casual
subscription platform.
1. What The Modern Exodus Is (And Is Not)
The Modern Exodus is a private brotherhood and operating community for
men committed to strength, discipline, responsibility, brotherhood,
personal excellence, accountability, and mental, physical, and
financial development. It is not a militia or paramilitary
organization, a political movement, therapy or mental health
treatment, financial or medical advice, or a dating service. You are
responsible for your own decisions, actions, and outcomes, and nothing
shared within our community should be construed as professional
advice.
2. Eligibility
By joining, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or have
legal guardian consent where permitted), are legally able to enter
into a binding agreement, will comply with all applicable laws, have
not been previously banned for violations, and that all information
you provide is accurate and truthful. We reserve the right to deny or
revoke membership at our sole discretion.
3. Membership and Access
Membership may grant access to private community spaces and channels,
live calls and events, structured resources and accountability
systems, regional chapters, retreats, educational content, and
brotherhood interaction. Access is conditional on continued compliance
with these Terms, our Code of Conduct and Community Rules, Privacy
Policy, Refund Policy, and platform rules. We reserve the right to
modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of our Services at any time.
Membership tiers, pricing, and benefits may change over time.
4. Code of Conduct and Zero-Tolerance Enforcement
All members are expected to conduct themselves with discipline,
maturity, and respect. Violations may result in immediate removal,
permanent ban, forfeiture of membership fees (no refund), and
reporting to law enforcement where applicable. Prohibited conduct
includes advocacy or promotion of violence, extremist or supremacist
rhetoric, illegal activity, harassment or discrimination, spamming,
attempts to radicalize the brotherhood, sharing confidential content
externally, impersonation, and creating multiple accounts to
circumvent enforcement. We are building men, not mobs. The Modern
Exodus is not a militia, a radical cell, or a forum for revolutionary
rhetoric. Removal decisions are final and made at our discretion.
5. Payments, Billing and Refunds
By purchasing a membership, event ticket, retreat registration, or
other paid offering, you agree to pay all applicable fees as displayed
at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through our payment
provider. Membership fees are billed on a recurring basis until you
cancel; you are responsible for keeping your payment method current;
failed payments may result in suspension; all payments are
non-refundable except as stated in our Refund Policy; removal for
violations results in no refund; chargebacks may result in permanent
ban; and event and retreat fees are subject to their own terms. For
full details, review our Refund Policy.
6. Privacy and Data
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy
Policy. We do not sell your data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy
for details on what information we collect, how we use and share it,
data retention, security, and your rights.
7. Intellectual Property
All content inside The Modern Exodus, including written materials,
logos and branding, call recordings, systems and methodologies,
private documents, and website code, is our property unless otherwise
stated. You may not, without prior written permission, redistribute,
reproduce, share private recordings, repurpose branding, use content
for commercial purposes, or create derivative works. You retain
ownership of content you create, but grant us a non-exclusive license
to use it within the context of operating our Services.
8. Assumption of Risk
Participation in community discussions and activities related to
physical training, financial strategies, personal development,
in-person events, and outdoor adventures is voluntary. You are solely
responsible for your health and safety, financial decisions, and
personal conduct, and for seeking professional advice when
appropriate. The Modern Exodus and its founders, staff, and affiliates
are not liable for injury, financial loss, personal disputes, or
consequences of your independent decisions. By using our Services, you
assume all associated risks and release us from related claims to the
fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Community Conduct and Confidentiality
This is a private environment built on trust. Members are expected to
maintain discretion, avoid recording or sharing private conversations
without consent, conduct themselves with discipline, not use the
community to solicit or sell without permission, and report
violations. We cannot guarantee confidentiality. Screenshots or
external sharing for clout or harm may result in removal.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Our Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To
the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties,
including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose,
non-infringement, uninterrupted service, and accuracy of content. We
shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special,
consequential, or punitive damages. Our total aggregate liability
shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding
the claim, or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is greater.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access, remove members
who violate our standards, restrict re-entry, and close or modify our
community at any time. You may cancel your membership at any time.
Upon cancellation, your access remains active until the end of your
billing cycle, after which it is revoked with no refund for the
current period. Termination for violations will not result in a
refund.
12. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make
material changes, we will update the dates at the top, notify members
where appropriate, and post the updated terms. Continued use of our
Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any dispute arising out of them shall be governed by
the laws of the United States and the state in which The Modern Exodus
is operated. We are committed to resolving disputes directly and
respectfully. You waive any right to participate in a class action
lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
14. Contact
For questions regarding these Terms, refunds and billing, privacy,
enforcement, or general inquiries, contact us by email at

The Modern Exodus — Refund Policy
Effective Date: 25th February, 2026. Last Updated: 17th October,
2026.
The Modern Exodus is a brotherhood, not a content subscription. When
you join, you are committing to a standard, a code, and a community of
men building together. Because access to our community spaces, private
channels, live calls, and structured resources is granted immediately
upon payment, and because the value of membership lies in access to
the environment rather than the consumption of content, the following
refund terms apply. All payments for memberships are non-refundable,
including monthly fees, partial months where access has been granted,
automatic renewals, missed usage, and fees for upgraded tiers. If you
cancel, your access remains active until the end of your current
billing cycle with no prorated refund. If you are removed for
violating our Code of Conduct or Terms of Service, no refund will be
issued and no re-entry granted. Event and retreat fees are
non-refundable unless an event is cancelled by us. Donations are
voluntary and non-refundable. In genuine hardship cases, you may
contact us to discuss your situation; adjustments may be considered at
our sole discretion but refunds are not guaranteed. For any refund or
billing question, contact us at business@themodernexodus.com or +1
(800) 585-6407.
